I have been following Southern Weddings and Cultivate What Matters for awhile now. They are sister companies run by an amazing group of women. Upon arriving to North Carolina, I knew we would have to explore some of their local stomping grounds and Fearrington Village was at the top of the list!
It did not disappoint!
From the welcoming farm to the Belted cows to the coziest bookstore and everything in between, we were happy travelers walking the village at Fearrington. We spent most of our time split between the bookstore, The Granary and the farm animals. It was all I could do to keep my mom from hopping the fence to cuddle the goats, chickens and cows.
The Granary was an amazing lunch stop! I enjoyed the eggs benedict and my mom got the chicken salad. We thought they were absolutely horrible as we licked our plates clean. Hehe.
From there we went to the bookstore and browsed around for not nearly enough time but we wanted to tour the rest of the village before heading home. The literature section of the bookstore had a warm, cozy room with chairs and a couch that I'm pretty sure they couldn't pull me from if I had more time to explore.
We might have to take another trip up there before we leave in less than a month. What a fun time we had!
