Hello! We're still here!
I didn't realize how long it has been since we last posted. We haven't been exploring much because the weather has been very chilly (even in Texas) and we had to make sure Thelma (the RV) was still running.
We woke up one morning and because the RV decided to shut off the furnace during the night, our pillows were frozen and we could see our breath. Womp.
We invested in a space heater which has helped us not to tear through all our propane to heat the RV.
The campsite we are in now turned off the water when the temperature got below freezing during the night so we had to fill up our water tank so that we didn't run out of water before they turned it back on. That was interesting. Kind of the same experience we had in Austin except that this time we had no access to water for about 2 days.
Our weirdest experience in Spring, TX...running into a woman we met at our Nashville campground just before leaving on the trip. I noticed her dog first and then the woman and pointed it out to my mom. She was in town for a wedding as well but would be leaving a few days before us. What a small world! They have a fabulous Class A that our other neighbor at the Nashville campsite told us cost about $600,000. WOW! If my aunt was here, she would have definitely asked for a tour! Ha!
Heading to Dallas tomorrow and as long as we don't keep freezing, we will post more often!
Stay warm, unless you're not cold like we are and in that case, we are heading for you!
