Sedona did not disappoint.
The drive to Sedona was spectacular and a bit harrowing. At 20 mph we had a motorcycle pass us (in a no passing area) and a minivan creep into our lane from the opposite side.
Once we were there safely, we parked and strolled up and down the main street while oohing and aahing over the gorgeous rock walls that surrounded the town.
Phoebe took a stroll through a pet store and got a sampling of treats and a goodie bag full of them to take home with her. While there, we got a few pet friendly restaurant recommendations and ran over to the pasta and pizza joint after we were done.
This was Phoebe's second restaurant experience and she fared very well. She even got a tiny taste of my mom's grilled chicken sandwich (just the chicken) and her own dog bowl full of water. I tucked into a yummy spaghetti carbonara with fresh made pasta. Yum!
After leaving Sedona, we wound our way back up the steep mountain road and took a quick detour to visit Slide Rock State Park. I didn't get any pictures of the slide rock but the last two or three pictures are of the surrounding rock face.
